thanks. I believe you void the warranty on any gun if you use reloads. It’s not worth the risk to me either.
Normally I prefer reloads, but with quality made, brass cased new ammo available for 30 cents a round, it makes little economic sense to reload for an AR.
It’s just a damned shame that there’s no such thing as affordable ammo any more.
I’m afraid that I’m old enough to remember when K-Mart would advertise a brick of W/W .22LR for $6.99. And even when I was older, it was easy to find (remanufactured) 50 round boxes of .223 for $6.
