From the minute it was announced that Boehner was stepping down, I was of the opinion that it was (badly acted) kabuki theater.

("Please don't toss me in dat briar patch, my fellow br'er congressmens!")

Boehner apparently had residual scruples while Paul Ryan does not, and besides- the Cheap Labor Express/Third World Importers already paid for him. It was a no-brainer, which only made it easier for the latent GOP-e sell-outs in the house.

WaPo reporting today there are several issues where Paul Ryan and Hillary Clinton are closely aligned. Wouldn’t trust Paul Ryan any further than I could throw him.
