Jo Cox death: Eyewitness describes Birstall MP attack

A cafe owner who saw the attack on West Yorkshire MP Jo Cox described the situation he witnessed as being "like a warzone".

Ben Abdullah's business is next to the Birstall library where the 41-year-old held a surgery on Thursday.

I never believed in them before but now I’m convinced this was a false flag event calculated to turn the tide of public opinion against Brexit.

It's so difficult to wrap one's mind around the idea that the "Stay" side, or those monied interests determined to win defeat the "Leave" referendum, would sacrifice one of their own - someone who additionally presented a future threat to the looney Labour leadership - to try to reverse their losing momentum, that it's easy to discount it as a possibility from the start..

nevertheless, it was my first thought, also, because we can be certain the opposition to Brexit comes from a cynical crowd willing to do almost anything - anything - to keep Britain's welfare state apparatus wedded to the Brussels Bureaucrat tyranny.

It is quite possible that many of the general public would have taken the initial statement as "gospel". The leftists know the value of an immediate response to any willing dupes. What hits them first is the most likely believed.
