Hoping that I am not being an unnecessary bother with this but here is my short list of what does not add up in Orlando:
1) The shooter was investigated by the FBI in 2013 for alleged terrorist sympathies, but this was dropped
2) The shooter was recently reported to the FBI (again) by a gun shop where he asked for body armour, then a bulk order of ammunition (which they refused to sell to him). FBI still did not act, it seems.

Really? That’s your take? A mistake was made on the video evidence. Who’s mistake is arguable.
Guess the shop owner should have shot the guy on sight, planted evidence for an open shut case.
You can’t question the motives of actions of any Muslim until after they’ve killed someone. Even then the blame will be deflected elsewhere.

FBI spokesman said tonight that orders come from up the chain. Their hands are tied where Muslims are concerned. I was surprised at his bravery, tho he is a former FBI chief. There is stand down, slash radical Islam from bulletins, etc. It’s coming from Obama. They can’t investigate problem mosques.
He said they are forbidden to do what they normally would do with other groups. Muslims are exempt. He said that they scrub Muslim intel.

They knew ahead of time this guy would act. When he did they waited three hours to maximise the carnage. They wanted this to be bigger than the last time. This is scripted.
My take is that we should declare war on Islamic terrorists. There should be a much looser definition of sedition regarding Islamic terrorism. Is should not take a video tape, just credible witnesses supporting seditious statements. Seditious statements should be rewarded by incarceration or preferable deportation.
There should not be more importation of people, refugees etc., of whom half support suicide bombers for any reason.
There is a mosque near me. They are outnumbered 100 to 1 by rednecks with guns. They are peaceful.

I'm certainly no believer in conspiracy theories, but the fact that a large group of heavily armed police stood around outside for hours and did nothing really doesn't make sense.
How could they just stand there and do nothing, knowing that there were severely injured people inside, and a gunman still killing people?
I don't buy the supposed argument that it would be dangerous to enter, or that the police had any reason to wait. Armed civilians, and I would hope our police have the courage to run into a dangerous situation and drag out the wounded. We expect our soldiers and Marines to do that, and they do it when facing far more dangerous situations.
Personally, I can't believe that some of the veterans serving in the police department in Orlando didn't do just that. Here in New Hampshire, faced with wounded officers in a fierce firefight with a drug dealer, a young officer charged back in, firing as he went - just like he had done as a Marine in Fallujah - and got the wounded to safety.
We've got the liberal Democrats saying we don't need firearms to defend ourselves, but then the armed police stand around for 3 hours and do nothing. If that is their response to terrorism, then they should stay at the station and just let ordinary armed citizens do what they can.
Of course standing around and doing nothing is pretty much what our government has done about a lot of issues related to Islamic terrorism.

What is standard procedure if you have intelligence that he may be wearing some type of explosive device? Not saying that’s what happened but do you send a small group in first in that case or not risk anyone or what?

I’m with you on declaring war on Islamic terrorists and I’d be happy dropping a few MOABs on Mecca during the Hadj. That would make a great statement for payback but without video evidence of who the guy was in this case it’s just another middle eastern fanatic and there’s thousands of them.
I’m all about securing the borders and rounding up and deporting all illegals along with all the liberals but doubt it will ever happen. Best thing to do is vote out congress and start over.
