See post 21. My ancestors went and expressed their *extreme* displeasure with their behavior starting in 1219. The reason why Islamic Middle Eastern culture seems to be stuck in the Middle Ages is because my ancestors went and *killed* millions of the people who would have been their best and brightest and made the rest flee. The then-popular Middle Eastern combat style of sending your best and brightest out as army champions in front of the body of the army and challenging the opposing force to single combat didn’t help their cause much.
