I was about to ask the question, “what is the capacity of Gilleys.” Have no idea why he chose this venue, maybe wanting to get a little closer to the people??
Maybe Gilleys has a special memory/significance to him? Like the idea of mixing it up. Also perhaps to show thousands turned away possibly w outdoor speakers?
I’m just guessing...but, knowing that area quite well....there is plenty of parking nearby, because the Dallas Covention Center...which is massive, is nearby...and both the Dallas Light Railway & Dallas Bus Service has good & frequent service to that area. I also believe that the Dallas Police Department would have tighter crowd control in that area, rather then be forced to control the “destructive” Obama/Clinton nutcase protesters in the heart of downtown Dallas business area!!!
