No, it's because Trump made the unforced error of attacking a judge's heritage, rather than his associations.
I have been for Trump from the beginning of the debates. Unfortunately, the opposition can make a very brief video with a series of Trump's very few unfortunate statements, especially taken out of context. People watching this in practically a loop will never even know what he stands for. I am praying that he can break through the biased media.
The unforced error was in attacking the judge, period.
Trump never attacked the judge's heritage of being the son of criminal illegal aliens. He only stated that being Hispanic, and being a member of a racist hate organization, would probably make him biased. Both were absolutely correct.
As for the polls. The pollsters are running shenanigans right now dropping Republican participation by 6 percent or more for no reason, when they had been giving Republicans a heavier weight in all previous polls this year.
So you’re on the WaPo staff? He didn’t attack the heritage of the judge, he attacked the associations. The media is just complicit.
