Burying the lede — the suspect, a current or former Walmart employee, was said to be a Somalian man wearing khaki pants, KFDA-TV reports.
Police said in a press release at 12:25 local time that no victims had been found inside the building and there is no ongoing shooting “at this moment.” It is not known if anyone was wounded elsewhere. The initial call was for a suspect who was actively shooting inside the store, according to police radio dispatches. You can listen to the initial police and fire radio dispatches below:

Did anyone else notice the story today, and see only one source mention the word “Somali”?
It was strange and I’m glad Pamela Geller has alerted her audience.
The gunman’s name is Mohammed Moghaddan.

He was 54, and according to one source was Somali. Geller reports he was a Muslim. I don’t see any sources on either one, however, I trust Geller and the initial report. (The Somali thing may have been mentioned in the police dispatch radio recording.)
The real question is, was he born in America, and if not, did he immigrate legally?

We're a little rural, and it'd take at least 20 min to get SWAT out here from the big town nearby. If some jackwagon tried that at our local stores someone would ventilate him long before SWAT got there. Probably several someones. They'd need CSI to sort out the ballistics and see who got credit. A local shooting range would probably offer free range time to the 2nd and 3rd place "finishers" to improve their marksmanship. (I'm not kidding, I know the range owner and he's that kind of guy)
