How did this guy manage to shoot 100+ before he was brought down. At least one guy I read about is in the hospital with 4 bullet holes in his back, so 100 at a minimum fired shots. Where were the police? I heard a rumor that they were delayed, or waited or something. Is this true?
From the graphic I saw, there are three sections, the first, biggest, restrooms along the rear wall, and in between the two, a second, narrower room. As best as I can piece together, the shooter stood in front of the front exit and shot people coming towards and running away from him. He then moved through the first room to the second room and shot people running into the bathrooms or trying to run from the second room into the first room. Somewhere along here, it’s been said some people were blocking a door so that people couldn’t get out, but they did that so other people wouldn’t get trampled but that hasn’t been repeated since the initial interview of one of the attendees. The rear exit was padlocked so there was nowhere for people to go except ultimately into the restrooms. Scumbag went into one or more of the restrooms, where the standoff began, his having hostages. When he started shooting hostages, the PD broke the exterior walls into the bathrooms and, standing in one of these breeches, scumbag made his last stand. That’s the best I can make out for now.
