When I was quite liberal I too thought it was appalling for people to have guns. Now I know that the criminals will ALWAYS have access to firearms, so law abiding citizens should too. Also, if you are protected 24/7 by armed bodyguards, don’t you dare tell the little people they can’t have guns.
All true, but the “little people” often just listen to the national media hype and run with it.
