In reacting to terrorism, Obama cannot bring himself to say the words ‘radical Islam.’
There are many threads to the horror in Orlando. Most disturbing is the serial inability of the Obama administration — in this case as after the attacks at Fort Hood and in Boston and San Bernardino — even to name the culprits as radical Islamists. Major Hasan shouts “Allahu akbar!” and Omar Mateen calls 911 in mediis interfectis to boast of his ISIS affiliation — and yet the administration can still not utter the name of the catalyst of their attacks: radical Islam. It is hard to envision any clearer Islamist self-identification, other than name tags and uniforms. The Obama team seems to fear the unwelcome public responses to these repeated terrorist operations rather than seeing them as requisites for changing policies to prevent their recurrence.
On receiving news of the attack, Obama almost immediately called for greater tolerance for the LGBT community — as if American society, rather than jihadism and the cultural homophobia so characteristic of the Middle East, had fueled the attack; or as if Mateen had not phoned in his ISIS affiliation. Obama strained to find vocabulary equivalent to “workplace violence” and was reduced to suggesting that the Orlando club was a nexus for gay solidarity and thus a target of endemic LGBT hatred, a half- but only half-right summation. Why is Obama’s first reaction always to find perceived fault within American society rather than with radical Islamism, an ideology certainly at odds with all progressive notions of gay rights, feminism, and religious tolerance?

It now appears that Mateen was gay and also a Muslim. Zippy is conflicted and must find someone to blame that does not conflict with his own life style being himself gay and Muslim, e.g., blame the NRA and the guns themselves. Trump is right he should resign because he cannot recuse himself due to his inherent conflicts. God help us.
Obama is a muslim who recused himself publically from Islam by adopting in his passive aggressive manner Christianity. But the brains on the Right can’t figure out diddly and absolutely refuse to see the easy button here.
Obama can publically say Islam is a choice, not enslavement and we here in the West will not accept that. But he is never put on the spot to say that because all the brains on the Right can do is point and shriek like rightwing SJW.
This is why we have one Presidential canidate who is standing up to this “political correctness” nonsense.

As long as the President thinks ISIS is the JV team, we will not defeat them. In basketball parlay because he think’s he’s ahead, he’s playing the four corner offense trying to run out the string until January 2017 and hand this problem off to the next President. Jihad is a tenet of Islam. I’m just surprised anyone in the zero regime would actually say this out loud.
Do you think Obama doesn’t know Omar Mateen went on Saudi pilgrimage twice?
Then ask yourself why it is so important that Obama made such a distinction of describing the killer as ‘an example of homegrown extremism’. Why FBI still insists ‘not part of ISIS’?
