Something like well over a hundred people witnessed a missile. Many witnesses were former military and pilots.

So later discussions over whether or not a missile could have reached the plane were an evasion. People saw it. And the interesting thing about that is that many reported that FBI did not want to talk to them.

While the FBI would not talk to witnesses, I met a crewman off a scallop dragger in a bar. The FBI chartered his boat to drag the bay and confiscate all of the items found. Was that normal procedure for a search for crash debris.

My thought was that would have been required to ensure no missile debris ended up outside of government hands.

And all of them, every one, was said to have confused the trail of the missile for a reflection off the water. Sickening.
