Whats really frightening is that guns may become the least of our problems if theyre able to deploy other, more destructive types of weapons. You mean like full size SUVs, Dump trucks, Tankers, 20# propane cylinders, Molotov cocktails, etc, etc, etc.
To paraphrase, "more destructive types of weapons" don't kill people, PEOPLE kill people.

Yes, people kill people. They pull the trigger and push the button. We still have a chance to stop a lot of carnage if we can get over our obsession with political correctness and the false belief that gun control will stop terrorism.

Propane tanks can be and have been incredibly destructive. There was a scare in Iraq back in 2003 that the insurgency had set up a large propane tank half filled with yellow-cake uranium. If it had one off upwind of the green zone, there would have been hell to pay.
And if you give me grief about yellow-cake, go tell it to the Canadians. They bought it from Iraq and the US for their reactors.

Spot on BwanaNdege. Julio Gonzalez needed 32 ounces of gasoline to kill 89 people at the Happyland club in NYC.
