Obama has been doing the usual grasping for ‘legacy,’ suffering as his predecessors did from the delusion that his legacy is not already written in stone, especially as a two-term president and a dismal failure. He and AG Lynch were set to unleash hell from DC but this incident’s timing will preclude those actions in the news and make them look small and incompetent (which they are, of course) if they attempt to pursue trifles like bathroom access.
Hillary, obviously, has been avoiding any criticism of Obama’s policies or actions. In fact, she’s been avoiding his name altogether. My, the magic Obama name must test really well in her endless focus groups!
But she was an integral part of the appeasement apparatus and was no doubt going to lead the ‘Trump is racist’ chorus whether the subject is Mexicans or Islamists.
Her campaign consists almost exclusively of pandering. The Dems assumed, perhaps with some justification, that they had the gay vote firmly in their pocket as long as they mouthed platitudes about ‘love’ and ‘equality.’ But when gays are targeted for death because they are gay, as opposed to encountering some resentment when they want a wedding cake, they will ask which candidate has their security in mind and if that candidate’s priorities are mixed up ie are Muslims higher on the pander list?
