President Barack Obama has ordered the lowering of the flag of the United States of America to half-staff as a mark of respect for the victims in a nightclub shooting in Orlando.
The flags are to be lowered June 12 and expected to stay at half-staff until sunset, on June 16. Utah Gov. Gary Herbert issued a similar statement for the flag of the state of Utah and the American Flag in Utah for the same timeline.

Please please don’t pile up useless flowers, candles, and teddy bears up at this bar as a memorial. Hold any memorial not from the victim’s families at a gun range or martial arts locations. Those of us not directly affected need to spend our time getting angry and prepared, not being emotional crybabies.

Well, if it had been a VFW or American Legion or NRA affair Obama’s buddy would have been greased before he got another round off because I would bet that at least half of those dudes would have been packing unlike the Pooftes in the LGBT bar in Orlando.
