Thanks lafroste.
This surge in "leave" probability comes despite an additional 1.5 million voters having registered this week (which many expected to increase "remain" support). Further anger towards EU was exposed when former cabinet minister Iain Duncan Smith warned that seven new prisons will need to be built in the UK by 2030 to cope with the rising number of migrant criminals (presumedly due to 'staying' in the EU). With market anxiety rising, as One River's CIO notes, if Brexit happens, gold will soar.
Jim Kramer just had an excoriating bit about German bonds, the least valuable paper in the world, as he said. The price of those will fall, pushing up effective yields; I doubt that "gold will soar"; since OPEC has been pricing in Euros (de facto) for over ten years, and the Euro will likely see a ragged decline, the price of oil is likely to fall.

Oh, and BTW, the Chinese have been buying a lot of extra bbl per day for a while now, which is what has been supporting the crude price rise -- so either they're getting ready to start something and want the stockpile, or they want the stockpile *and* want some diplomatic cover from the grateful OPEC nations, time will tell.

I was just thinking about this vote, in light of Orlando. Looks like the pro-EU bunch just got hit with their own version of an OCTOBER SURPRISE.

There is NO WAY this can help the Open Borders bunch (i.e., pro-EU) there - we’re looking at a 30 point BLOWOUT now. It’s game over for the EU, at least regarding Britain.

I see nothing “shocking” about the poll results, in fact the results are/were predictable....the Brits don’t want dictators telling them what to do.....

They need to get out while it’s still possible...

Brit’s escaped living under Hitler’s thumb - they can escape this too....

“If any good comes out of Orlando at all,”

It will be to assure the election of Donald J. Trump. Frankly the Brits are such a pile of worthless $hit these days that I don’t give a fig what they do. Then again, we’ve been following suit.

Yep, I’m hopeful that they will exit, but can’t talk myself into believing it will actually happen. When do they vote, in a week or so?

Wonder how last night’s massacre in Orlando will affect this.
_________

If I were a Brit it would make me more likely to vote to leave, big time.

They did it all by themselves. We weren’t even involved at the time.

it appears so, yes
the Lion may finally be re-awakening (at least we will know it does when it pulls OUT of the Brussels dictatorship and repatriates its Islamics to their own countries)

we will see... it may take awhile for a great big powerful lion to fully wake up to the grave danger it is in>

The globalists will never allow Britain to leave the EU.

The referendum result is not legally binding - Parliament still has to pass the laws that will get Britain out of the 28 nation bloc, starting with the repeal of the 1972 European Communities Act.

If Britain exits, it will be an island of freedom threatened by an entire continent of fascism. I'm speaking in economic terms, of course.

Strange how history repeats itself.

Heil Merkel!

British, Irish and Commonwealth citizens who live in the UK, along with Britons who have lived abroad for less than 15 years, are eligible to vote. 18+

Unfortunately it's the younger generation that will vote to stay.

As long as they have Facebook and their iPhones they don't care.
