No, I don’t either, but having a CCW permit in most states makes you a “target” for any cop who doesn’t respect the 2A, there are a lot of them, and the “political leaders” who pay them to harass people who observe the 2A! All I’m saying is that as I read the 2A, it’s none of their business. Anyway, it isn’t about their “safety,” it’s about mine! They don’t care about anything but their “safety” as evidenced by this disaster in Orlando this morning. That they waited THREE EFFING HOURS before going into that night club “because of their safety,” tells you all you need to know about our cops today. I can’t imagine these men in the military. They would seemingly wait to go to the aid of a comrade in arms. It’s simply shameful. From my read, it was better to have 50 people dead and 53 shot to hell, rather than risk any of them getting shot! And just look at all the attention being paid to the cop who took a round in his Kevlar helmet! At least he had one, which is more than those poor people had in that night club!
I don’t know where you are but I know many who carry, just as I do, and I have never heard one even hint that the police “target”them.
As far as the three hours before they went into the club, I have no knowledge of the situation and what was happening so I can’t make a judgement there.
