I just heard someone on ESPN describe it as an act of domestic terrorism. I guess that is the new meme from the storyteller, Ben Rhodes. Domestic terrorism covers the political spectrum. It is usually applied to right wing terrorists. The anti-gay angle will be played up and Islam downplayed to make it seem that it is coming from the right.
