So If I know that blacks are more likely to be felons, but I cannot check if they are a felon, does it make it more or less likely that I will hire a black candidate?

I would seriously make the case that it makes it less likely a black candidate would get hired because why take the chance if I can’t check?

The way I read it they don’t have to check a box saying that they have a criminal history but you can still check to see if they have one before you make a hiring decision.
