The problem is not with legal residents and citizens, the problem is with illegals, terrorists, voter fraud, criminals.
Having national ID will give no excuse for being “racist”.

There are already requirements for identification across the board! Purchasing a house, a car, a boat, a stick of freaking gum requires ID! I have to show my ID to buy cold medicine and even shredder lubricant! I’m a tax-paying, God-fearing, gun-toting, working, living life American citizen, and I have to pull out my ID for damn near everything. There’s nothing racist about it!
This is about control. It has nothing to do with identification.
