I will never do another deal with any Chinese partners. I built a $155 million power project with a power purchase agreement with the Chinese government tied to its output. After building said project the government decided they did not like the terms of the deal. We had to sue and recovered pennies on the dollar some years later. All Chinese businessmen view contract terms as negotiable after they are signed. The first thing Mao did after taking over in 1949 was abolish contract law. Never again will I do business there.
