Thirty years ago, I was a US sailor who enjoyed, the beaches, markets, casinos, and bars of Nice for four nights straight non-stop (that's when good 'ole Princess Grace was still in charge of extremely-nearby principality of Monaco at the time, don'tcha know). At that time, no Muslim would dare to get in the way of all the playing and partying, as that would not have been a very healthy life practice at all.

It was 55 years ago for me, but I don’t think there were any casinos in Nice or Cannes back then. Cinderella liberty, but still had a great time enjoying the night life at age 18!
