The faction of the GOP that is unhappy with Donald Trump as the party's presumptive nominee has one last plan to stop the mogul: staging an all-out delegate revolt at the Republican National Convention.
The far-fetched idea is the latest reflection of a campaign cycle that has been anything but ordinary, and stems from a continuing dissatisfaction among some conservative stalwarts with how Trump is behaving and running his campaign. But two longtime GOP veterans says they wouldn't bet on the effort working.

It's way past time to unite behind Trump and have the convention be a celebration of Trump, as our Republican nominee and support him to beat Hillary Clinton.
Chaos at the R convention only helps the Democrats, showing Republicans as disorganized and fractured.
I would urge ALL Republicans to actively support Trump and focus on beating Hillary.
If you don’t like Trump, LEAVE!

The Wall Street Journal is their mouthpiece. Read the front page now — they want Hillary. Convention disruption makes total sense if electing Hillary is their objective.

I wish FR would stop posting these threats of denying Trump’s nomination. These factions deserve to be discredited and not given any legitimacy!!
It is an unmitigated outrage that, even as I type this post, Mittens is being interviewed on CNN by Wolf Blitzer.
Moreover, I hope Trump’s camp is taking note that Ryan is participating in Mittens’ summit in Park City, Utah!!
As chairman of Trump’s convention, this ought to disqualify him from having any role in Cleveland next month!!

As usual, you hit the nail on the head.
Sadly, I agree that this is exactly what is going on.
These sore losers will not give up. How many have been with such people in a card game. They will lose the pot and start arguing about how they were cheated. They will accuse everyone playing a game with them. When their insanity fails to get the results they want, they will stand up and kick the card table over.
Whenever these #Never Trump try to introduce a resolution to oppose Trump’s nomination, they should be ruled out of order. Then, convention operatives should quietly investigate who these instigators are and the entire body of them escorted out of the convention by the Sargent at Arms. Their credentials I.D. badge should be taken and they should be barred from the convention.
This is not a matter of a engaging in the democratic process, it is a matter of conduct under the rules of the convention. It is like a mob crossing the street against the red light.
I think we need to be aware of these efforts and counter them as best we can.
Ignoring them means they go on unchallenged.
Not Anti-Trump, they’re anti-me and my family. Anti-constitution. Anti-freedom and liberty. Anti-God.
That’s why they must not succeed thwarting the will of the people, us.
Why does not this faction of the GOP that is unhappy with Donald Trump explain and justify their discontent? Otherwise they look stupid and self destructive.

None has said how Hillary would be better than Trump. They sound like liberals who have infiltrated the GOP.
I don’t think the delgates will revolt.
They have to vote for the person to which they are bound — the winner — Trump. (At least on the first ballot!)
I don’t believe there will be a second ballot.
The NeverTrumps remind me of Hitler in the Bunker. If they can’t win, they want everything destroyed. However, they lack the courage of Eva and Adolph.
Give it one last shot for a convention of corrupt collusion.
