I clearly recall conservatives warning that homosexuality normalization in this country would bring about acceptance of:
1. Civil union -> Gay marriage
2. Pedophilia
3. Polyamoury
4. Beastiality
5. Increase of bi-sexuality, homosexuality, and transsexuals
6. Resulting decline of tradional marriage

When society’s norms and standards disappear, so will society.
