Do HS in TX habitually have 5.0 as ideal? I’m used to 4.0 all around; not that in HS we really paid attention. You were just an A or B student.

Yeah, I remember 4.0 being perfect. it’s become a scam of bonus points. Some kid actually got 9 something.
Apparently they can get higher than 4.0 with advanced placement.
