Ryan under GOP fire for Trump remarks
The Hill ^ | 10 Jun 2016 | Alexander Bolton and Scott Wong

Speaker Paul Ryan’s handling of Donald Trump is coming under criticism from Senate Republicans, many of whom prefer the way their leader, Mitch McConnell, deals with the unconventional candidate.

McConnell, the Senate majority leader from Kentucky, has steadfastly declined to call Trump's criticism of a federal judge “racist,” a term that Ryan (R-Wis.) pointedly deployed.

“It sets up journalists to ask, ‘Do you agree with Paul Ryan that it was racist?” said an aide to a vulnerable GOP senator

Trump set off a firestorm last week by claiming that a Mexican-American federal judge handling a lawsuit against Trump University was biased because of his heritage.

Republican lawmakers on both sides of the Capitol swiftly expressed strong disapproval, but Ryan ratcheted up the criticism significantly by calling it “the textbook definition of a racist comment.”

Ryan’s remarks quickly became a Democratic talking point used to batter vulnerable Senate Republican incumbents.

“This morning, Ryan called Donald Trump’s attacks on Judge Gonzalo Curiel the ‘textbook definition of racism.’ Will Johnson join Ryan in calling out Trump’s racism?” American Bridge, a Democrat-allied communications group, asked in a press release targeting Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), one of the chamber’s most endangered incumbents.

The group sent out similar releases pressing Republican Sens. Kelly Ayotte (N.H.), Roy Blunt (Mo.), Mark Kirk (Ill.), John McCain (Ariz.), Rob Portman (Ohio) and Pat Toomey (Pa.) to condemn Trump’s action as “racist.”

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee on Wednesday sent an email to reporters highlighting a Tampa Bay Times article in which three Republican Senate candidates declined to go as far as Ryan.

Actually DJT should demand that Paul Ryan step down from being the GOP Convention Chairman!!! New name for Paul Ryan.....political Traitor!!! And....... after that, Trump should immediately demand that the GOP House leadership, demand his immediate resignation as GOP House Speaker!!!

I keep asking ... if judges don’t have biases, why do big time lawyers “judge shop?” Did the lawyers suing Trump U shop around to find a venue/judge who’d be sympathetic to their cause? Nah, never happen.

I believe if we look deep enough we will find that BOTH of the Judge’s parents are “white Hispanics” just like Zimmerman. I thought racism against ALL whites was 100% fine and dandy with the entire PC crowd and race industry?!?

The level of deceit currently taking place is astounding. The judge’s dad never was here legally and died a Mexican citizen in 1964. His mom came here illegally and didn’t become a citizen until the judge was 18. The good judge was the classic definition of anchor baby.

The judge is a member of La Raza (the race) and other radical organizations advocating for open borders. He has not treated Trump fairly in court; there is ample evidence that he is biased. He tried to schedule the trial and compel Trump’s attendance during the Republican Convention. He released confidential information to the press from the court proceedings to the press in a transparent attempt to damage the Trump campaign then he had to “unreleased” the information.

Then when Trump squawked all the Democrats and Ryan have called Trump a racist and have been harping on a false narrative 24/7. It is all very predictable, but sickening.

You filthy, rotten liar.

May you rot for all eternity in the foulest corner of Hell.

Trump said that the judge is biased because he is associated with La Raza, not because he is an anchor baby born to two Mexican citizens.

La Raza a terrorist organization that is in a state of war with the United States. It is despicable beyond words that the evilstream misleadia are trying to paint this as racism, when the real issue is a judge who commits treason on a daily basis.

A non-white saying that he doesn’t trust a whitey judge is no problem. But rightly saying that a member of La Raza won’t give a white guy a fair shake is horrible and racist. Whatever....

“he is a democrat now leading the Republican Party”

He has always spoke and voted like a democrat. I believe he is as phony as a $3.00 bill.
He had the house worship for a while—this speaks volumes for the integrity of members of the house and senate—worship Paul Ryan. I believe he loves himself so much he has no need for our love—so there-send the phony back to Wisconsin, his family needs him, we don't.

And that’s a pretty low bar.

Ryan made it almost impossible for him to back Trump - he stepped into the MSM trap with both feet and now has to be able to explain how he could back someone he considers a “classic racist”.....he’s arrogant and stupid.....
