Susan Collins is a neurotic liberal. You know darned well that if she endorsed, the next day she would be in the news complaining and nagging about something he said or did, and would threaten to withdraw her useless endorsement, and it would go on and on every day.
Don’t let her in. It’s way more trouble than it’s worth.

Trump doesn't need Sen. Collins' endorsement. She stays in office based on votes from liberals and conservatives who haven't had any other choice. Sen. Collins is able to voice her true, liberal, RINO feelings because she won't have to run for re-election until 2020, and she may retire before then.
That said, its time to start working on the candidate who will replace her in 2020 or sooner if she retires before the end of her term.
