If the police asks you and/or they find it on you, they can charge you with a crime, because it’s not legal to carry a concealed weapon, without a permit.

All depends on how much power your willing to give the govt. Some of us
can live with the consequences.
I live in Maine. We have Constitutional Carry; no permit necessary to carry a concealed weapon on your person or in your vehicle.
The same law last year that gave us Constitutional Carry also made switch blades legal as well.
We also have Open Carry.
