I think that is a poor selection. Sessions is secretary of state. He is no national politician. He is provincial and great with me but he is not what we need. We need a base broadening figure. Not a southern white male or they will eat us alive.

Concur; I just saw him on Fox Business with Lou Dobbs and now agree he should not be Trump's VP pick. He is not photogenic. His words are good; his voice and demeanor is not attractive for a VP candidate.

Rand Paul is intriguing; his father would, of course, have to support the ticket and would be a counter to the almost certain Sander's endorsement and campaign for Clinton.

Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania are the keys. Who helps the most with those while winning the same states Romney won ? Rubio and Kasich

Hadn’t given Rand Paul a second thought. Now there’s a guy who can stand up to Hillary and the rest, and he’ll appeal to the Sanders people.

Has there been any inkling out there that Rand is being considered?
