Students at Yale University are demanding radical changes that would remove white male authors from the English department’s curriculum.
According to a petition submitted to faculty, Yale students are demanding that a course on “Major English Poets” be removed from the curriculum because it lacks diversity.

And divest themselves of all science, technology, medicine, transportation, and every single vestige of Western Civilization.

Wouldn’t you LOVE to know what the demanding students scored on their SAT’s vs the hundreds/thousands of white kids who applied but were not admitted to Yale in order to make room in the quota system for these brats? Actually serves the university right.

Interestingly, Africans of the continent tend to be multi-lingual and in many ways better educated than American ghetto blacks. This is a direct result of European colonization.
Notice the signs inside airport terminals in Africa. They’re in English, French, Belgian, Dutch. Many African languages to this day have no written language.
There were no poets before Langston Hughes and Gwendolyn Brooks.
Maybe then they could read books by Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell. Might do them some good.

My many snarky, and no doubt “racist” comments notwithstanding, I do really like and appreciate those two, and many other, black poets and writers. And musicians, athletes, abolitionists, scientists, and on and on.
So that’s what I don’t get—we eeeevil white people have been very open and welcoming to black culture, even embracing and learning from its positive aspects.
Why is it so hard for “them” to reciprocate?
Oh, wait. I’m stereotyping. These Western Civ deconstructionists do not represent the thinking of ALL black people.

I think they missed the "English" part of the course description...
If there are major english poets that are not white, by all means include them...
