SCOTUS has already ruled that police have no duty to protect the individual.
Did they have guns? Just one real gun would have frightened the thugs into running in the opposite direction. The bullies are cowards.

Why is liberal fascism tolerated?
Soon the victims of liberal fascism will fight back with hot lead. Count on it.
The authorities should end liberal fascism at political rallies. If not the consequences will be quite dire.

Police were right there and did nothing. Even firefighters in San Jose ran from that kid running for his life. We even know the name of the St. Paul resident, a Black Somali muslim, who assaulted and committed battery on him. We have the airline reservation.

I hope to be excused from up Canada way, as I do not have a dog in the hunt, so to speak. The definition of OCHLOCRACY in Wikipedia is that it is MOB RULE. The rule of government by mob or mass of people, or the intimidation of legitimate authorities.
It could be that even the election- or rejection of Donald Trump, may be comparatively insignificant to the actual ramifications. For that wonderful document, the Constitution of the United States itself is under threat. If the American people are suborned, threatened, attacked, when they express their rights of free assembly, it is the Constitution that is under attack.
