I’ve watched the video more than once. I cannot see him once he runs into the crowd around the firetruck. Someone, sounded like a protester, posted that he saw the young man try to jump into a moving firetruck. There’s no way to know what the driver saw, but he was navigating through a crowd of protesters and might have been concentrating on that. If he did deliberately ignore the young man, then he should answer for it. The least he could’ve done was call it in to the police.
I only saw the video at the link to this thread. Is there another view?
I did find a video from KPIX which shows the police helping him, so he did finally get some protection.
The negro is also shown in other videos trashing private property suck as jumping on the roof of cars.
Just thought of this. This mayor, or next time something like this happens, compare it to Hillary and Obama standing by as Ambassador Stephens was killed in Benghazi.

it has been revealed the San Jose mayor ordered the police to stand down - to not respond.
In their defense, there are many good FReepers in CA.
It’s just all those other people who I want to feel the wrath of God and suffer mightily.
Ladder and tanker trucks have compartments that don't lock (good intel to know). Inside those compartments are pike poles, axes, halligan tools, pry bars, saws, jaws and a variety of other tools that would not be wise to get into the hands of that mob.
Not only that, the firemen would be crucified by the city and insurance company due to the $1mm+ vehicle if it were damaged and looted.
And that is not even considering the safety of the firefighters.
