This after Trump hinted several times that he might drop out and go third-party and not support the Republican candidate. The deal was that he had to be treated fairly. At one point in the primary one could argue that he was not being treated fairly. When you have Romney climb out from under the porch to go on a tirade on Trump, but says little about Clinton or anyone else really, that is quite telling. Romney was not even honest with what he said. However, we can also point to the Colorado non-vote. I would not call that a fair straight forward way to elect people.
