Donald J. Trump Statement Regarding Trump University
Donald J. Trump ^ | 6-7-2016 | Donald J. Trump

It is unfortunate that my comments have been misconstrued as a categorical attack against people of Mexican heritage. I am friends with and employ thousands of people of Mexican and Hispanic descent. The American justice system relies on fair and impartial judges. All judges should be held to that standard. I do not feel that one’s heritage makes them incapable of being impartial, but, based on the rulings that I have received in the Trump University civil case, I feel justified in questioning whether I am receiving a fair trial.

Over the past few weeks, I have watched as the media has reported one inaccuracy after another concerning the ongoing litigation involving Trump University. There are several important facts the public should know and that the media has failed to report.

Throughout the litigation my attorneys have continually demonstrated that students who participated in Trump University were provided a substantive, valuable education based upon a curriculum developed by professors from Northwestern University, Columbia Business School, Stanford University and other respected institutions. And, the response from students was overwhelming. Over a five year period, more than 10,000 paying students filled out surveys giving the courses high marks and expressing their overwhelming satisfaction with Trump University’s programs. For example:

It’s a good statement, but he gets into the merits of the case a bit too much. I want to hear more from Trump (or others on his behalf if necessary) about the bias of the judge, since that is what people are trying to hang him for.

Join the club, that's what they do when it's anything regarding Trump. 2nd, of course it's appropriate to question the judge's bias here and it's not racist as proven by the media reaction to so many Black leaders who question the motive and bias of White police officers - it is accepted and goes unchallenged. So yes the media is biased and it is appropriate to ask for a fair trial by an unbiased judge, who in this case is a member of a violent ethnic group La Raza.

About time. He’s going to have his hands full between Hillary, Gary Johnson and Obama.

Yes, he needs to use this opportunity to give the American public a primer course on LaRaza.

Well constructed and well said Mr President...I do like the sound of that...
And NOW he can get back to the campaign and say he can not comment anything more on Judge Curiel because the case comes to trial in November...Intresting month to hold a trial in the middle of a campaign..ha ha

He doesn’t cover the Judge’s racist memberships and ties to a La Raza Lawyers Association and the Judge’s membership in an association that is calling for a boycott of Trump businesses. He is not getting the story out and the media has simplified everything down to racism.

Yes he will, but he’s the only Republican who can tangle with them in the media spotlight and win.

Que Sera sera.

Twenty minutes (give or take) of action manages to rip the masks from a number of familiar faces, shed light on the corruption of our Judicial System, and lend credit to the fact our government is NOT OURS!

Every time he is asked about Trump U he ought to bring up Hillary University where the State Department under Hillary directed $55 MILLION to Laureate Education and in return Bill was made an “honorary chancellor” where he receive $16.5 million in kickbacks for doing nothing.

I can’t help but think that the GOP Establishment is behind all of this turbulence surrounding a civil case. They could not beat Trump at the polls, but they may be trying to snatch from him his right to the GOP nomination. Anybody who supports Trump should resist the attempt to substitute another nominee for Trump.

The key that all IDIOT LIBERALS are missing as per future President Trump:

“certain professional organizations”

The judge has a potential conflict of interest - or at least one that could be construed if the ruling does not go in Trump’s favor.

Good for Trump for closing the book on this BS.

Trump does best with one liners and sound bites. That statement was long and lucid. So meh.

Now let’s focus on all the Mexicans we are going to excrete come the new administration. There are tens of millions we need to round up!

Trump statement sounds very reasonable.

The question I have: can Trump elect to have a trial by jury in this?

So the judge sets a trial date for the month of the presidential election?!

Oh yeah, no bias there.

It'll get out. He's laid the groundwork here.

As far as the (Left Owned) Media and their GOPe cousins are concerned, it is Racist to be against Illegal Immigration.

That's what this truly boils down to.

He did mention the Judges bias. Excerpt below:

“Due to what I believe are unfair and mistaken rulings in this case and the Judge’s reported associations with certain professional organizations, questions were raised regarding the Obama appointed Judge’s impartiality. It is a fair question. I hope it is not the case.”

It’s “wrong” to charge someone $1000s to listen to hours of speeches that may help their career.

It’s “not wrong” to charge a company $225k to listen to a 15 minute speech that has no chance of making any difference to anyone listening.

At least that’s what Hillary supporters think. And anyone that agrees with Hillary supporters is unbiased. And if that person is a judge it’s not allowed to question their purity. Meanwhile ANY white judge with a non-white defendant is assumed to be biased.
