problems with this ad is that it assumes ppl know what its in reference to. Same old, same old, what? It fails the newbie test

This ad targets a certain age group who would get this.
The ad fails at helping us draw a conclusion. Political junkies know the ads is in reference to LIES, but MOST people esp newbies don’t have a clue. That’s why this ads fails imho
Instead of saying “same old, same old, typical politician”
It should have ended with “lies, lies by crooked politicians”
I think it also targets the voting-age children of people who would get this. Imagine what conversation would follow when the question is, "What is Bill Clinton talking about?".
Paula Jones, trailer park, hundred-dollar bill, etc. What fun for the whole family.
Did Hillary ever challenge Carville's statement implying that Paula Jones was a whore? I don't recall her doing so.
Fortunately for me, my liberal daughter and son-in-law hate Hillary Clinton and "Feel the Bern". If I sense any back-sliding I'll have to work on them.
