Trump campaign wasting precious time, GOP critics say

Donald Trump is wasting precious time.

By now, Republican Party critics argue, the party's presumptive presidential nominee was supposed to have stationed senior staff in battleground states, moderated his fiery message to attract new supporters and begun raking in big money.

Instead, he's spending more time right now picking fights and settling scores than delivering a message that might help draw voters.

He isn’t? Just how, then, did GOP primary registrations soar this year? How then did he break all records for primary votes? Why is he on track to match Obama’s 2008 “super” primary turnout?

Yeah, he did that without any organization.

It’s a new era. The old methods of targeting voters don’t work. Obviously Trump’s does.

Hmm. Really? Try reading my article The Trump Tactical Heimlich.

He did this deliberately. It’s a “three-fer.”

I called Senator Mark Kirk and let his office know that I will not be voting Mark Kirk IF I do not see the GOPe leadership fall strongly behind Trump. I then called McConnell at Bowling Green (Louisville was rude) and let McConnell's office know that McConnell will be losing the majority leader if the GOPe leadership does not strongly support Trump. I then called Senator Graham to let his office know that Mark Kirk will not be Senator if they do not support Trump strongly. I pointed out on all calls that there is not one Democrat criticizing Clinton even though she lost Libya, Iraq, Syria, an Ambassador, has email, personal server problems, etc. Not one Democrat is attacking Clinton.

I called Paul Ryan's office but his email box is full.

Wonder if it ever occurred to them that “picking fights” with the right people and “settling scores” with the right people are PRECISELY what conservatives have been waiting for.

There are many, many, political "viewpoints" out there that need to be burned to the ground by reality and falsifiability. Defense of boutique political crusades have to be made on their own merits, not by way of marketing campaigns from the MSM.

I'm thinking that whatever the "stupid" party recommends, do the opposite.

It's worked so far.

I would tend to agree with you. Just because I support him doesn’t mean I have to agree with everything he does. I want him to WIN is the bottom line, and if doing some things the “normal” way would help, then I am all for it. Heck the guy isnt infallible. I think we may run into another FR scism, between the True Believers, and the Rational Supporters.

That will all be settled in just five short months.

He’s doing it all wrong. That’s why we will never get the nomination.

I am no fan of Trump, but these GOPe critics are likely the same people who were advising some piss poor Republican candidates in the past who lost embarrassingly.

“Trump needs to organize and redirect his fire at Clinton.”

HilLIARy has been hitting Trump on the Trump Univ. lawsuit. Trump’s comments were in response to her attacks by showing the prosecution’s and judicial bias in this case.

His point is MOT that the judge is Mexican by heritage, but that the judge is a La Raza activist and biased against him as exemplified by the judges mishandling of court documents.

Why is it that an organization named “the Race” in Spanish is NOT racist, but pointing out that it IS racist makes you the racist? I’m very tired of this PC spin on everything by the Dems/media. It’s way past time to destroy their narrative. All these Republicans denouncing Trump need to get their heads out from down under. Optical rectitus is fatal in this election.

I hope that Ryan’s comment’s will be fed back to him in the primary and that he’ll chock on them!

LOL, great point, LS!

I don't much care for Trump on a personal level the way he projects himself, but on the other hand, I am all in on someone who eschews the standard "My esteemed colleague on the other side of the aisle" fare in favor of something a bit more...pointed.

In these nauseatingly politically correct times, I can vote for a man like that. We are far, far beyond finding common ground with the opposition, many people (including many conservatives) don't see that truth yet.

The general election is not the republican primary.

Uh-huh...so says every naysayer this election cycle. How many times did they say what Trump was doing/not doing, saying/not saying, you name it, was going to do him in? How many times have we heard you can’t run a campaign like he is? Heck, he’s had enough “ceilings” he could have built another Trump tower.

My money is on Trump...and I’m not a betting man.
