BERLIN You know times have changed when the Germans announce they are expanding their army for the first time in 25 years and no one objects.
Back when the Berlin Wall fell, Britain and France in particular feared the re-emergence of a German colossus in Europe. By contrast, Berlins pledge last month to add almost 7,000 soldiers to its military by 2023, and an earlier announcement to spend up to 130 billion euros, about $148 billion, on new equipment by 2030 were warmly welcomed by NATO allies.

I just have to ask... Who are they building an army against? I can’t imagine the dozen or so Germans I knew being happy with the EU.. I was surprised to watch them welcome rape jihadists into the Franfurt banhoff where I took lots of trains. Does this have anything to do with Britain threatening to leave the EU? Seems a bit anti... EU creating its own military

There will be a fourth Reich. Whether that is good or bad news depends on what form it takes, upon what ideological principles it is based, and the extent to which it wishes to expand its borders elsewhere. If it is anti-Muslim, pro-Christian with a Charlemagne-type ruler, it should be welcomed; if it is the epitome of the Marxist progressivism that has haunted Europe for the past century, it should be fought against; if it is a European caliphate, it would have to be destroyed.
It will end as well as what happened when mercenaries made up the bulk of the Roman Army.
Are,they buying mosque materials and wood for crucifixion of non refugees? I just hope I am being funny.
