I think Trump is naming Rudy Giuliani as secretary of Homeland Security.

When I read this:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3437023/posts

...it makes me question that ANYTHING is being done at all except to bring them in and distribute them around the country en masse. Whether the agents are personally corrupt is one thing, but we know what their orders are, and it’s “flood.”

20 years ago, I thought Pat Buchanan was extreme on the issue, but when I realized that it was a bipartisan effort to put tens of (if not one hundred) million(s) of illegal aliens in this country and what it did to my own neighborhood, which is 1,100 miles from the closest entry at Laredo, I dare call what has been done treason. And I accuse the Clintons, La Raza Rick, Dubya, Zero, McQueeg, Willard, El Jebbe, and both parties of complicity.

We are not ethically, morally, socially or financially responsible for people invading our sovereign borders, period, and those elected officials who fail to uphold our laws in that regard (and set up illegal “sanctuary cities”) need to face criminal prosecution to the most extreme. Same goes for employers who employ illegals and those that rent or lease properties. Not some paltry fines, hard and long prison sentences.

We must win the election above all else.

So does Perry win us a battleground state? No.

Does Rick Perry strengthen any constituency or demographic? No.

So, does Rick Perry help win the election? No.

So, should Rick Perry be Trump’s VP choice?

No.

And for the same reasons, neither should Cruz, Sessions, Hunter, Gingrich, or Demint.

Never mind how good a VP they would be once in office. That is absolutely irrelevant.

Unfortunately he's damaged goods due to that debate performance that he can never recover from. Even a minor slip-up in a VP debate will further the narrative and provide material for late-night comics and Internet memes, which will only hurt the Trump campaign.

Overall, I think Trump is going to have to go out of the box on this one and select another non-politician. A lot of people (including himself) is talking about the need for selecting an establishment politician but I disagree, think that will depress the turnout among people who are sick and tired of the same old, same old.

This is truly a revolutionary election.

And I don’t remember him doing a doggone thing about it!
Not a single, lasting thing.

Please correct me if I’m wrong.

We don’t now and never will need an advocate of Sharia Law in the Republican party.

A lot of Texans worked hard to run La Raza Rick out of politics and now (with Islam transitioning to open violence on American soil) we will keep him out by reciprocating whatever means he and his Islamic allies are using.

I guess Perry would “balance the ticket” - one guy for border security and keeping Muslims out, one guy for OPEN BORDERS who loves Muslims.

No thanks!

W junior?? No thanks. As much as I love Sarah, it’s not gonna happen as she is tainted by McCain.
I think I pretty much has to be Gingrich.

“Although Perry may be personally trustworthy, and might be a loyal VP for Trump, the Uniparty globalists know they can control him. Such a person in the VP spot is a danger to Trump’s personal safety.”

Reagan took a bullet for making that mistake - damn good point.

“...but I think I would want my high school daughter vaccinated.”

No one would stop you, we just DO NOT LIKE governors that impose these shots on our daughters so they can have wild and crazy sex in Junior High.

We’re not talking measles here where the only way to keep it under control is mass immunization. It’s a bit harder for ‘non-participants’ to get HPV.

I don’t think it’s going to be Gingrich—or we wouldn’t have heard him hitting Trump so hard this weekend for his comments on the Trump U. judge.

Likely some Senator.

“Perry would be cool by me. Not perfect, but better than most.”

Absolutely agree. He may not be perfect but he’s a heck of a lot closer to it than any of the other choices. I like Mike Huckabee, too. I’ll probably get flamed for this one but I think Rand Paul would be a good VP, too.

What really is unbelievable is these facilitators of illegal border crossers have no regard for history. When we had the flood of Irish immigrants, there was a process of scrutiny that as comprehensive as it gets. There was a health screening that even looked at the immigrant’s mental health. Today, we are letting in all kinds of diseases and people with criminal backgrounds.

I like Perry and I would vote for him but he the media would treat him like Quayle..
We’ve had eight years of a guy stammering into a microphone, unable to put together a coherent thought without a teleprompter and a team of writers, but Dan Quayle was an “idiot” according to someone born in 1993(a co-worker)..

There seems to be a lot in Perry's favor. But, mygosh, he sure does stumble over words and thoughts some times. That might not be a disqualifier, if Trump can shape him up about being a better communicator.

My concern is that there's NOTHING in this about his stance about stopping and reversing the invasion of the US, and that includes building the wall. Is he one of us, or is he sympathetic with the globalist traitors who have polluted the Republican Party for so long?

With or without glasses? ;). He’s. OK but Trump needs a legislator from a swing state (congressman/senator)
