At a press conference at Trump Tower in NYC, where Trump was providing the press with a breakdown of how the funds he raised for veterans were distributed, Donald Trump called out an ABC News reporter for questioning his committment to the cause.
“What I don’t want, is when I raise millions of dollars [for charity], is to have this sleazy guy from ABC, this sleaze — You’re a sleaze because you know the facts and you know the facts well,” Trump said, implying that he was intentionally misreporting facts that he knew.
“I don’t want the credit for it but I don’t want to be lambasted,” Trump said about his donations.
