I voted for the babe and the old white guy, and then voted for Romney next time around.

In those two cycles many did not vote. Not because the wanted the alternative, but to let the eGOP know that they were not going to vote for the lessor of two evils ever again.

Both McCain and Romney GAVE the elections to Obama.

They would not fight to get a republican in office, nor would they fight the massive voter fraud that ushered in Obama twice. See ACORN and millions of non-citizens that voted.

This time there is no excuse to not vote for Trump as, even though he isn't the perfect candidate/conservative, he is the only one that will be in this race who is sincerely dedicated to MAGA and do away with a lot of the bloat (porkulus as described here at FR until the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) revolution started in 2009.

I agree with what you say. There are scenarios where, with two choices I could refuse to vote or vote for the democrat. It would be to punish the Republicans, to send a message. In such a case, I would be willing to see the Democrat win in order to get some future change in Republican behavior. There would be method to the madness.

Republicans benefited the last few elections by the fact that the Democrats are so far off the rails that it makes sending a message dangerous. Punish them for Romney, get Obama and Muslim refugees in small towns in Iowa. Illegal aliens taking spots in Universities. Etc. This time, Hillary is as bad as Obama, Kerry, Bubba were, worse in some respects. We can't afford to let her win, even if you don't like Trump. I like him myself, but even if you don't, you are a traitor to come here and try to demoralize his supporters, or be a NeverTrumper.
