If the students were all so knowing, why are they “students”

However, if Yale gives in (again) then they deserve the scorn they will earn.

This is nothing less than cultural genocide.

That's what I was thinking. If they are going to let the inmates run the asylum, then the tenured profs and administrators may as well be let go.

Actually it is the faculty's responsibility as educators to instruct and teach, and it is the student's responsibility to learn. Nowhere in any effective system of education is it the student's prerogative to decide what is important to learn.
