I hope that Trump can find the right sort of advisors to put more substance on the skeleton of anti-elitism that he has put on display as the hallmark of his candidacy.
This has to be broadened and shaped into a historical counter-revolutionary movement.
We have had a revolution (in all western countries, not just the U.S.A., in fact the revolution is not quite as consolidated there as compared to either Canada or western Europe).
I see Trump’s hostile attitude to the mainstream media in that context. The media have been enablers of the revolution, together with academics and most establishment politicians. The revolution is essentially this — the proposition that an international elite represented by the United Nations and various other groups have the right (and the obligation as they see it) to overcome the governments of sovereign nations and make them enact legislation of their choosing to further an agenda of their choice.
That agenda is not coming from the ordinary citizens. Many of them (us) oppose almost all of this globalist agenda.
So Trump is starting off well on this project but we need to see a more formal declaration of intent — total and unconditional political war (non-violent unless challenged by force) against these elitist groups hiding in plain sight.
Conspiracy theorists talk about secret meetings and shadowy organizations. They may well exist but in reality, almost all of this revolution has been conducted out in the open and the shame is that many people have remained silent, or have “gone along to get along.” There is no reward for this, just slavery down the road.
I hope that these concepts are communicated to the liberal mainstream media. This should not be seen as just some personality clash or trivial spectacle — and even Trump himself can “up his game” on this front — it’s not just that we want the elites fired, we want them humbled so they never try this again.

I find it amazing that Trump in that one presser called out certain journos and at the same time answered the Harambe gorilla question with common sense all while spanking the whole industry for being the liars they are.
I think it better if Trump leads a transition than a revolution.
When has our media ever taken even a mild exception to Obama?
