Russia is right up there with China with state-sponsored theft and sabotage of Western ideas/tech. They were at it since the 50’s because their system sucks so bad that their military was ~15-20 years behind ours and ~70% of their televisions couldn’t pass QA at the factory. It’s no coincidence that the most active and publicly-accessible pirate forums/boards are Russian.

These attacks on “Troll Gangs” is just an attempt to try to legislate more government control over the Internet. The cure will be much worse than the disease.
