Since the (Democratic) editors know she's the presumptive Democratic nominee, it's hard to believe they would say she was reckless and threatened national security, and suggest that it might turn out she also broke laws IF they believed she was going to remain the nominee.
This editorial is nothing short of material to be used against her by Republicans.
People are suggesting they're going to bring in Warren. That makes sense - she hasn't been taking all the hits, little is known about her, and there won't be much time for people to get to know her and negatives to develop. And, she's a woman and the Bernie voters will be happy, uniting the Democratic party, which Hillary could never do.
Oh, and a poll on the page has 75% of respondents strongly agreeing with the editorial, and another 11% agreeing. That leaves only 13% answering either "don't know," or that they're disagreeing with it.
I think the real story that is shocking the media is just how thrilled a majority of the public is over her being held to account for her actions.
