In a new statement, the TSA placed blame on passengers, claiming that individuals are at fault for showing up to checkpoints unprepared. “Individuals who come to the TSA checkpoint unprepared for a trip can have a negative impact on the time it takes to complete the screening process,” the agency said in a press release, which also included travel tips to help cut down on delays. There is probably some truth, as even one person, who isn’t properly prepared, can make it a longer for everybody else, it certainly isn’t the only explanation.

How DARE they travel when the TSA is undermanned at their chosen airports. And especially on the Stand-down Day for LGBTOMGBBQ! Awareness. . .
It couldn’t POSSIBLY be the huge federal jobs program known as the TSA, where many “officers” are the otherwise hard-core unemployed, who stand around and moan about wanting to go “on break” while test and real weapons sail through. That would be unthinkable, wouldn’t it?
For the TSA to have a fraction of the functionality it needs, can these “officers” and hire retired sworn officers. Things would go faster, much fewer test and real weapons would get through, and the legion of malingerers would be a thing of the past.

Well, not everybody flies frequently, and some people just don’t know what to expect at the airport.
