Sorry I disagree. Cruz has no cards left to play and may in fact have trouble being re-elected to his senate seat in Texas.
Trump really does not need his endorsement and in this day and age endorsements no longer have the meaning and influence they once did.
Cruz probably needs to do some serious fence mending and hope Rick Perry does not decide to run for his seat in 2018.

What few right wing voters Cruz can cost Trump will be more than made up by moderate voters who oppose Cruz. And Cruz’s antipathy will protect Trump from leftist attacks as “too conservative”.
