Kristol wants to deny Trump a majority in the electoral college then throw the election to the House. Have Mittens pick off enough states, maybe some Mormon heavy ones.
It would be deeply destabilizing politically.
Romney’s ability to draw votes off would involve several states- Utah because of religion, Michigan because its his home state and his father was governor there, Massachusetts because he was governor there.
Mitt could draw Mormon votes in Nevada and that would only help Hillary win there and the Mormon minorities in other Western states like Wyoming, Arizona and Idaho may go his way.
