I upgraded my Tracfone to one with a bigger screen last year. All because the $59.82 phone was marked down to $9.82 (Walmart). I had paid $9.95 for my simple Tracfone two years earlier.

These ‘gatekeepers’ or salespeople you get on the phone will probably make more commission of the sale of an Obama phone than what you wanted to buy.

What stops them, after they get your SSN, from turning around and using that ‘key’ to submit you for the govt subsidized ‘free’ service(s)??!?

Bought some groceries today. The fat minority woman in front of me paid for her food in two separate amounts, so I knew what was happening. Sure enough, the display showed that she paid with food stamps. In her second pile was a case of 24 bottles of beer and a big bag of ice. I watched get into her new white Silverado pick-up with an extended cab. Our tax money goes for people who don’t need it and who waste it on unnecessary purchases. Thoroughly disgusting!!

Amazon was selling a refurbished Iphone 4 (CDMA Verizon edition) for $25 in their returns, open box, one-of-a-kind department (Amazon Warehouse Deals) about a month ago. It looked like brand new. I jumped on it and added it to my Tracfone account as a BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone). Best deal ever.
