In a sweeping address that reflected on the obligations of humankind, Obama wrestled with the inherent contradiction that centuries of technical advancement have both made it easier to bind people together and given them the capacity for the carnage seen in this city. And he confronted the cold reality that his own goal of a world without nuclear firepower remains frustratingly out of reach.

A moral man would not use the tools of government to settle personal piques.
A moral government would not subvert the law.
A moral justice system would not need a private, independent third party to do the job that prosecutors, judges and Congress will not.

No man who implicitly supports beheadings and burning people alive has any standing to lecture anyone about morality. Without the courage or character to stand against unimaginable acts of evil, he is not entitled to utter the word morality.
I took a chance and went to the link. I mostly scanned the article itself on my way to the comments. A rag like the LA Slimes would surely be awash in the same sort of simple-minded sophistry as put forth by The Worst President in History but I was pleasantly surprised by the scolding Ødungo and the author received from the readers.
My wish for Ødungo to morally evolve never happened and we have suffered through the last 7 1/2 years of his incessant preening and hectoring.
2017 can’t possibly come soon enough.
The founding fathers got it right. No to violations of natural rights and no to initiation of force.

I told my son that after ‘bama apologises for defeating Japan, he could stop in Bonn and apologise for beating the Nazi’s and then stop in London and apologise for the American Revolution... I wasn’t sure about his stopping in N Korea and Grenada...
