Funny this article should pop up. I was just thinking how crippled some of the missile guidance systems would be if the GPS satellites were taken out the other day...funny coincidence...

So that would make them about 40 years behind us. Congrats!

It’s why I always say, when it comes to the next big war, you’d better not rely on gadgetry. It still will come down to the basics: Tanks, artillery and boots on the ground.

America has to stop wasting everything on the Mideast and get back to investing in research and engineering.

There have been two sobering accounts, one recently and one during the heightened Ukraine tensions, where Russia has disabled the electronics on US Naval ships. The one in the Ukraine was disabled for 45 min. I’m not sure how long the second ship was disabled, but it happened recently while the ship was in the Middle East.

I did not bookmark the articles at the time, but remember that the first incident was reported in several video broadcasts by different people.

My point is, we need to be vigilant and serious, and pray that Mr. Trump can become President before this current commie US regime gets us into to any more disasters.

Peace through strength.

If our enemies don’t fear us, we are toast.

President Trump can’t come soon enough — before Obama unilaterally disarms us.

Excuse me. The Russians have had a so called “killer satellite” capability since the early Eighties. All it takes is maneuvering an explosive into a proximity to one of our satellites and then exploding it. The difficulty back then was finding it in the exosphere but homing in on a signal transmitted from a GPS satellite makes it easier.

If these reports are accurate, they'd be a breach of security of the highest order. Hope you reported it.    :)

What portions of our space technology don’t they now have? Could Russia take out our birds? Yeah likely in short order. If it comes to that it will be as one person already posted Boots on the Ground of which we are at an all time low since before WW1.

You are correct.

I just read an article where Putin, made a direct threat to Romania and Poland over the missile defense system.

It’s part of the new “triad” I suppose.

But I think enemy attacks can be more subtle, disinformation/mobbing, cultural-drugs/riots, or major infrastructure - utilities, dams, banking...

Not that this report isn’t disconcerting, but...
